Vermont High School Soccer - Burr & Burton nudged by St. Johnsbury Academy
October 19, 2024: St. Johnsbury, VT 05819 St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), 1-0 in a non-league outing.
The Hilltoppers (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 2-13 record. In their last outing, Rutland was edged by Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) in a Metro outing, on Tuesday, October 22. Burr & Burton will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Wolves go into the outing with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT).
