October 19, 2024: Groton, MA 01450 The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans to 6 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westborough for a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. Groton-Dunstable will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 44-0 non-league win over Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Rangers record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Oakmont Regional drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Maynard (Maynard, MA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, October 28. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-2.
