Maryland High School Football - Laurel can't hold off Oxon Hill
October 19, 2024: Oxon Hill, MD 20745 The Oxon Hill Clippers got by the visiting Laurel Spartans football team by a score of 14-12 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Clippers play the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Oxon Hill will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 20-12 non-league win over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD).
The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Gwynn Park was edged by Suitland (Forestville, MD), 42-6, in a non-league challenge.
