New Jersey High School Soccer - Highland Park toppled by New Providence
October 19, 2024: New Providence, NJ 07924 New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Providence moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Linden (Linden, NJ) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 22. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-8. Linden 2-2 in their recent non-league test against St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ)
The Owls now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Metuchen for a Greater Middlesex - Blue test on Monday, October 21. Highland Park will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-7.
