New Jersey High School Soccer - Pequannock nudges North Warren Regional
October 19, 2024: Blairstown, NJ 07825 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) and the host North Warren Regional Patriots (Blairstown, NJ), saw Pequannock's soccer squad hold off North Warren Regional by a count of 2-1.
The Golden Panthers (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ). The Lancers enter the non-league battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Lakeland Regional was edged by West Milford (West Milford, NJ), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Hopatcong Chiefs (Hopatcong, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom battle, on Tuesday, October 22. North Warren Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ).
