October 2, 2021: Payette, ID 83661 Payette Pirates (Payette, ID) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs (Baker City, OR), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the McCall-Donnelly Vandals (McCall, ID) in a 3A District III challenge, on Tuesday, October 5. Payette will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Vandals enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 6-0 league win over Weiser (Weiser, ID).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McLoughlin for a 4A Greater Oregon challenge on Tuesday, October 5. Baker/Powder Valley will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over College Place (College Place, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.
