October 2, 2021: Taos, NM 87571 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), saw Taos's volleyball squad nip Capital by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Taos upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Tigers host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to play the Elks/Elkettes in a bout on Tuesday, October 5. The Elks/Elkettes go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Pojoaque Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM)
The Jaguars now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Rio Grande for a bout on Tuesday, October 5. Capital will play a Ravens squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 1-4.
