California High School Volleyball - El Cerrito edged by Granada
October 2, 2021: El Cerrito, CA 94530 The Granada Matadors held off the host El Cerrito Gauchos volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Matadors now have a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to California for a East Bay test on Tuesday, October 5. Granada will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 14-11.
The Gauchos (18-11) will now prepare for their test against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons enter the Tri-County test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, De Anza held off Richmond (Richmond, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
