California High School Volleyball - Walnut tips Flintridge Prep
October 2, 2021: Walnut, CA 91789 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) and the visiting Flintridge Prep Wolves (La Canada, CA), saw Walnut's volleyball squad nip Flintridge Prep by a tally of 1-0.
With the win, Walnut upgrades its record to 24-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to South Hills (West Covina, CA) to play the Huskies in a Hacienda bout on Tuesday, October 5. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 10-7. South Hills won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA)
The Wolves now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Polytechnic for a Prep bout on Monday, October 4. Flintridge Prep will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to La Quinta (La Quinta, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-3.
