New Jersey High School Football - Lawrenceville School held off by Phillips Exeter Academy
October 2, 2022: Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 Phillips Exeter Academy Lions (Exeter, NH) fans left the game content Sunday as they saw their football team hold off the host Lawrenceville School Big Red (Lawrenceville, NJ), 21-20 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT). The Cats come into the Northeast Prep challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Cheshire Academy nipped Phillips Academy (Andover, MA), 42-6, in a league challenge.
The Big Red now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to William Penn Charter for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 8. Lawrenceville School will meet a Quakers team coming off a 40-26 non-league win over Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 4-0.
