October 2, 2023: Moriarty, NM 87035 The Moriarty Pintos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Estancia Bears to 1 in the Pintos non-league victory on Monday.
The Pintos now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gallup for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. Moriarty will meet a Bengals team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 2-3.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Rattlers enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Tucumcari was nudged by East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
