October 2, 2023: Medford, NY 11763 Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Brentwood Indians (Brentwood, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Walt Whitman will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record.
The Raiders now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverhead for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 4.
