Illinois High School Soccer - Dunlap knocks off Bloomington
October 2, 2023: Dunlap, IL 61525 Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Dunlap will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Potters enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
The Purple Raiders now possess a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manual for a Big Twelve challenge on Thursday, October 5. Bloomington will confront a Rams team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Rams record now stands at 0-10.
