Ohio High School Soccer - Columbia knocks off Garfield Heights
October 2, 2023: Columbia Station, OH 44028 Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Garfield Heights Bulldogs (Garfield Heights, OH), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders confront the Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH) in a Lorain County 8 challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. Columbia will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Christian Community (North Eaton, OH).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bard Early College for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Garfield Heights will confront a Raptors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to John Marshall (Cleveland, OH). The Raptors record now stands at 10-1.
