New York High School Soccer - Monroe-Woodbury knocks off Goshen Central
October 2, 2023: Goshen, NY 10924 Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY), 3-0 in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Middletown for a Section 9 Division I test on Wednesday, October 4. Monroe-Woodbury will encounter a Middie Bears squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, NY). The Middie Bears record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Goshen Central drops to 6-3 on the season. The Gladiators host Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY) to encounter the Dragons in a Section 9 Division III test on Wednesday, October 4. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 7-1. Cornwall Central 0-0 in their recent league test against Beacon (Beacon, NY)
