October 2, 2023: Downingtown, PA 19335 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA) and the visiting Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA), saw Bishop Shanahan's volleyball squad beat Cardinal O'Hara by a tally of 3-0.
With the victory, Bishop Shanahan improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Eagles host Unionville (Kennett Square, PA) to confront the Longhorns in a Ches-Mont test on Tuesday, October 3. The Longhorns enter the test with a record of 16-1. Unionville won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Council Rock South (Holland, PA)
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Germantown Academy gained a win over Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
