Illinois High School Flag Football - Romeoville thwarted by Kankakee
October 2, 2024: Romeoville, IL 60446 Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 30-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Kankakee improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Kays host Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL) to play the Raptors in a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. The Raptors go into the battle with a record of 10-5. Rich Township won 42-32 in their recent non-league battle against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL)
The Spartans now have a 8-5 record.
