Virginia High School Football - Glenvar thwarted by Auburn
October 2, 2024: Riner, VA 24149 Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) supporters were happy Wednesday as they witnessed their football squad knock off the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 22-7 in a non-league contest.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Bath County was outscored by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 22-16, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Highlanders battle the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Glenvar will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 26-7 non-league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).
