Florida High School Football - East Lake can't hold off Clearwater
October 2, 2024: Clearwater, FL 33764 Clearwater Tornadoes (Clearwater, FL) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team tip the visiting East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL), 2-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Clearwater improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Tornadoes host Largo (Largo, FL) to play the Packers in a battle on Wednesday, October 9. The Packers go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Largo won 26-0 in their recent league battle against Pinellas Park (Largo, FL)
The Eagles now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Palm Harbor University for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 9. East Lake will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Osceola (Seminole, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-2.
