Virginia High School Football - Grafton thwarted by Lafayette
October 2, 2024: Williamsburg, VA 23188 Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA), 42-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lafayette advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Warhill won 37-22 in their recent non-league battle against New Kent (New Kent, VA)
The Clippers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Smithfield for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 9. Grafton will play a Packers team coming off a 46-5 non-league loss to Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Packers record now stands at 0-2.
