In their next game, the Warriors play the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 9. Weddington will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 16-7 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Providence was nudged by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 34-12, in a non-league match.
