Illinois High School Soccer - Romeoville knocks off Horizon Science Academy-Southwest
October 2, 2024: Romeoville, IL 60446 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Romeoville Spartans soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 win over the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies.
The Spartans (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen enter the Suburban Prairie outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Joliet Central was overwhelmed by Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Huskies confront the Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, October 4. Horizon Science Academy-Southwest will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Hawks enter the outing with a 5-7 record after their 6-0 league win over Beacon Academy (Evanston, IL).
