Louisiana High School Volleyball - Grand Isle bounced by Central Catholic
October 2, 2024: Morgan City, LA 70380 Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grand Isle Trojans (Grand Isle, LA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Central Catholic improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA) to face the Chiefs in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 12-2.
The Trojans now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centerville for a Division V District 6 test on Thursday, October 3. Grand Isle will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.
