The Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) football trounced the host Belaire Bengals (Baton Rouge, LA), 51-12 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Donaldsonville Tigers (Donaldsonville, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 10. Brusly will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 36-0 non-league win over White Castle (White Castle, LA).

The Bengals (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA). The Indians come into the 4A District 6 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Istrouma was overwhelmed by Lord Beaconsfield Landry (New Orleans, LA), 18-8, in a non-league outing.
