Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN) fans left the game content Thursday as they observed their football squad top the visiting Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars (Murfreesboro, TN), 30-20 in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Boiling Springs for a 1A Region 4 test on Friday, October 17. Clay County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-0 league loss to Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.

The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN). The Rebels go into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Tipton-Rosemark Academy toppled Fayette Academy (Somerville, TN), 49-13, in a league challenge.
