Arizona High School Football - Heritage Academy nudges San Pasqual Valley

In Thursday's league match, the host Heritage Academy Heroes football squad scored a close 21-20 triumph over the San Pasqual Valley Warriors.

The Heroes (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Phoenix come into the 2A Metro 5 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Tonopah Valley was tipped by Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ), 36-34, in a league battle.

The Warriors now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Antelope for a 2A Metro 5 battle on Friday, October 10. San Pasqual Valley will play a Rams team coming off a 27-13 league win over Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 3-4.
