Texas High School Football - Birdville thwarted by Azle
October 2, 2025: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Birdville Hawks (North Richland Hills, TX), 32-21 in a non-league match.
The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Fossil Ridge was beaten by Aledo (Aledo, TX), 19-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Hawks confront the Denton Broncos (Denton, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 9. Birdville will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
