The Nevada Union Miners football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos to 20 in the Miners league triumph on Thursday.

The Miners now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roseville for a test on Thursday, October 9. Nevada Union will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 8-8 league Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.

The Raging Rhinos (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Placer was edged by Chavez (Stockton, CA), 15-14, in a non-league challenge.
