Texas High School Football - North Mesquite falls to Newman Smith
October 2, 2025: Carrollton, TX 75006 The Newman Smith Trojans felled the visiting North Mesquite Stallions football team by a score of 39-14 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to White for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 8. Newman Smith will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 32-32 league Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, North Mesquite drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Stallions host Sunset (Dallas, TX) to face the Bison in a challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
