Michigan High School Football - Clare prevails Standish-Sterling
October 2, 2025: Standish, MI 48658 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Clare Pioneers football team scored a nice 38-12 win over the Standish-Sterling Panthers.
In their next game, the Pioneers play the Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Clare will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Bluejays go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 48-14 non-league win over Gladwin (Gladwin, MI).
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Ogemaw Heights knocked off Bullock Creek (Midland, MI), 33-0, in a non-league test.
