October 2, 2025: Fayetteville, GA 30214 The Fayette County Tigers football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lovejoy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. Fayette County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 26-0 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA). The Chiefs enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, McIntosh ran past Banneker (College Park, GA), 21-6, in a non-league challenge.
