In Thursday's non-league match, the host Gilroy Mustangs football squad scored a close 14-13 victory over the Silver Creek Raiders.

The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Rams enter the match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Willow Glen got by Overfelt (San Jose, CA), 26-16, in a non-league match.
