Michigan High School Volleyball - Annapolis edged by Melvindale
October 2, 2025: Dearborn Heights, MI 48125 Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Annapolis Cougars (Dearborn Heights, MI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Crestwood nudged Redford Union (Redford, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Redford Union for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 7. Annapolis will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
