October 2, 2025: Georgetown, DE 19947 The Sussex Academy Seahawks held off the visiting Dover Senators soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Seahawks face the Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 4. Sussex Academy will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 8-1 league win over Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE).
With the loss, Dover drops to 6-4 on the season. The Senators host Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 7.
