Ohio High School Soccer - Grand River Academy toppled by Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin
October 2, 2025: Chardon, OH 44024 Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH), 8-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH) to confront the Cougars in a North Coast Conference outing on Tuesday, October 7. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 10-1. Lake Catholic won 7-0 in their recent non-league outing against Lexington (Lexington, OH)
Next up, the confront the Cornerstone Christian Patriots (Willoughby, OH) in a non-league outing, on Friday, October 3. Grand River Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
