October 2, 2025: Thomasville, NC 27360 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) soccer team edged the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC), by a margin of 3-2.
The Panthers now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Randleman for a PAC Seven 4A/5A challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Ledford will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Mount Airy moves to 10-2 on the year. The Granite bears host Forbush (East Bend, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a Northwest 3A/4A challenge on Monday, October 6. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Forbush won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)
