California High School Volleyball - Casa Grande bounced by Salesian College Preparatory
October 2, 2025: Richmond, CA 94804 Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pride (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Gauchos come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, El Cerrito beat Richmond (Richmond, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Gauchos face the Justin-Siena Braves (Napa, CA) in a Vine Valley Athletic League test, on Tuesday, October 7. Casa Grande will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 12-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA).
