Illinois High School Volleyball - Chicago University edged by Trinity

Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Chicago University Maroons (Chicago, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Trinity upgrades its record to 16-9 on the year. The Blazers travel to Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 8-10.

Next, the Maroons meet the Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. Chicago University will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL).
