Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Crete upgrades its record to 6-15 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Palmyra (Palmyra, NE) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Palmyra lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Freeman (Adams, NE)
