New Mexico High School Volleyball - Maxwell overwhelmed by Fort Sumner/House

Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fort Sumner/House improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The host Logan (Logan, NM) to meet the Longhorns in a 1A District 6 challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Logan won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Dora (Dora, NM)

Next, the Bears meet the Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) in a 1A District 5 test, on Tuesday, October 7. Maxwell will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Red Devils go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM).
