Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) and the host Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD), saw Thunder Basin's volleyball squad notch a victory over Rapid City Central by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Thunder Basin improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Bolts travel to Campbell County (Gillette, WY) to encounter the Camels in a 4A East battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Camels go into the battle with a record of 9-12. Campbell County lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Sheridan (Sheridan, WY)

Next, the Cobblers meet the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) in a AA District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Rapid City Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Kernels enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
