The Buccaneers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Spartans come into the 5A District 3 challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Comeaux was knocked off by New Iberia (New Iberia, LA), 48-12, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southside for a 5A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 28. Lafayette will meet a team coming off a 23-7 league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The record now stands at 7-1.
