The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) and the visiting Central Linn Cobras (Halsey, OR), observed Taft's football squad defeat Central Linn by a count of 35-22.

The Tigers now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Toledo for a 2A Special District 2 (9 Man) contest on Friday, October 28. Taft will encounter a Boomers squad coming off a 42-18 league loss to Lowell (Lowell, OR). The Boomers record now stands at 5-3.
