North Carolina High School Football - Alleghany tipped by Starmount
October 20, 2022: Sparta, NC 28675 The Alleghany Trojans football team (Sparta, NC), was tipped 14-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC)
The Rams (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, East Wilkes nipped South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 46-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Airy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 27. Alleghany will meet a Granite Bears team coming off a 25-0 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 8-0.
