The Franklin County Lions routed the visiting Cedar Grove Saints softball squad by a count of 24-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Lions (19-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 25-2 record. In their last battle, Wesleyan topped Pickens (Jasper, GA), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
