Arkansas High School Basketball - Riverside knocked off by Bergman
October 20, 2023: Bergman, AR 72615 The Bergman Panthers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Riverside Rebels to 56 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lisa Academy North for a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 24. Bergman will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 62-42 non-league win over West Side (Greers Ferry, AR). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgefield Christian (Jonesboro, AR). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Ridgefield Christian was defeated by Riverside (Lake City, AR), 66-33, in a non-league contest.
