The Atkins Camels topped the visiting High Point Central Bison football team by a final score of 14-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Atkins improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Camels travel to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to confront the Cougars in a Mid-State 3A outing on Friday, October 27. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Rockingham County won 18-13 in their recent league outing against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC)

With the loss, High Point Central moves to 0-9 on the season. The Bison host Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Storm in a Mid-State 3A outing on Friday, October 27. The Storm go into the outing with a record of 0-9. Southern Guilford lost 64-6 in their recent league outing against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)
