The Carver Yellowjackets football team (Winston-Salem, NC), was beaten 27-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC)

The Raptor (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A/2A Conference A challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Corvian Community achieved victory over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 24-23, in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Winston-Salem Prep for a 1A/2A Conference A challenge on Friday, October 27.
