The Junction City Bluejays football squad scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Emporia Spartans to 14 in the Bluejays league victory on Friday.

The Bluejays now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heights for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Junction City will meet a Falcons team coming off a 33-21 non-league loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Falcons record now stands at 5-3.

The Spartans now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Valley Southwest for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Emporia will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 42-21 non-league win over Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-1.
