Washington, DC High School Football - St. Michael the Archangel held off by Friendship Collegiate Academy
October 20, 2023: Washington, DC 20019 Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting St. Michael the Archangel Warriors (Fredericksburg, VA), 28-21 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Friendship Collegiate Academy improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Rock Creek Christian Academy (Upper Marlboro, MD) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, October 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-5. Rock Creek Christian Academy lost 26-12 in their recent league test against Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD)
With the loss, St. Michael the Archangel drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Benedictine (Richmond, VA) to battle the Cadets in a VISAA Freelance test on Friday, October 27. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 8-0. Benedictine won 49-12 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD)
